About Trade representation
Trade representation is an agency of the Russian federal government. It operates in Saudi Arabia as a part of the Russian diplomatic mission, providing assistance to the development of bilateral trade and economic, investment and interregional cooperation.
Trade representation of the Russian Federation in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is located in Riyadh. Its activity is aimed at developing economic ties between the Russian Federation and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, promoting Russian export projects and attracting investments and advanced technologies to our countries
Our mission: to create an effective mechanism for promoting Russia’s economic interests in the world markets.
Tasks of the Trade representation:
- development of Russia’s foreign trade relations;
- Expansion and diversification of exports of goods and services;
- Creating conditions for the realization of competitive advantages of high-tech export-oriented sectors of the economy of the Russian Federation in the country of residence;
- Increase of a share of exporters that represent small and medium-sized enterprises;
- development of industrial cooperation of the Russian Federation with the country of residence;
- Integration of Russian enterprises into international production chains.
Functions of the Trade representation:
- advisory, organizational and informational support of entrepreneurs in the implementation of business projects;
- assistance in finding potential partners and checking their trustworthiness;
- advising on selected legal issues in the field of business management;
- promotion and (or) accompaniment of participation in exhibition and fair events;
- Advisory support for participation in public and private tenders and procurement;
- Assistance in the pre-trial settlement of commercial and other commercial disputes.
